Umrah is an Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, that can be performed at any time of the year, unlike Hajj, which is mandatory and has specific dates. It consists of key rituals, including Tawaf (circling the Kaaba), Sa’i (walking between Safa and Marwah), and shaving or trimming the hair as a sign of purification. Though not obligatory, Umrah holds great spiritual significance, offering Muslims an opportunity for forgiveness, renewal of faith, and devotion to Allah. Many pilgrims also visit Medina, the city of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), to pray at Masjid an-Nabawi.
